Why Massage Therapy is Important
Massage therapy is an important part of most people's routine. Whether you go to work, school, or need a massage after an injury, there are time to find professional-quality massage.
The ability to reduce one's stress, along with other ways of decreasing pain such as osteoarthritis (roughly 30% of massage therapy clients are osteoarthritis or related patients), is not only beneficial to the massage client. It is also beneficial to the masseuse. Knowing how to reduce one's stress levels, such as through meditation, will also benefit the masseuse.
Massage can be a very effective tool when you have the aches and pains, but is more effective if you get the massage on a schedule so those aches and pains never surface to begin with.
It's like working out! If you only work out once, how much help does it provide your fitness? If you work out 3-4 times a week, you will see results it's the same as massage. Am I saying you need to come in 3-4 times a week? No way! Not practical, but should you get a massage 1-2 times Bi-weekly? Yes! It will help you in the long term and prevent you from getting the pain and stress you get by neglecting your health.
